The service
QRCodes lets you generate static QR codes in the browser and, with a workspace, create dynamic short-link codes, bulk label sheets, routing rules, workflows, analytics, and GS1 Digital Link / passport pages. Static generation does not require an account. Dynamic features require a workspace and, where applicable, credits or a paid plan.
Never-dies redirects + escrow
This is a product commitment, not a slogan:
- Cancel or downgrade freezes editing, not redirects. Dynamic codes you already printed keep resolving to their last destination. You may lose the ability to change destinations, routing, or design until you have credits or an eligible plan again.
- Escrow export. You may download a JSON map of slugs and destinations (Settings → Never-dies escrow) and self-host it. See escrow docs.
- Scans are not a billable meter for keeping a redirect alive. Creating new dynamic codes consumes credits as described on Pricing.
Exceptions (abuse, law, takedown)
We may pause, block, or remove a code, destination, or account — including after cancel — when we reasonably believe it is required to address malware, phishing, fraud, illegal content, court orders, or platform abuse (including attacks on the resolver). Never-dies does not obligate us to keep hosting a destination that is unlawful or that is being used to attack others.
Credits, plans, and refunds
Static codes are free. One dynamic code consumes one credit when created. Purchased credits do not expire. Plan credits refill each billing period and are not a cash balance. Deleting a code does not refund credits; the printed link can keep resolving. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. Chargebacks and refunds follow their policies and applicable law.
Acceptable use
You must have the rights to the destinations and files you encode. Do not use the service for malware, credential theft, unlawful tracking of people, or to circumvent another party's access controls. You are responsible for what a printed code opens.
Availability
We aim to keep redirects available, and escrow exists so you are not trapped if we cannot. The service is provided as-is except where the law requires otherwise. We are not liable for reprint costs, lost warehouse time, or indirect damages beyond what applicable law allows.
